Are you looking for a full time role as a Transportation/Logistics Coordinator with a leading logistics company in Mississauga?

This is a permanent role that requires experience in transportation management, dispatch, distribution operations, logistics operations and customer service.

Ready Staffing Solutions is urgently hiring for Transportation Coordinator role for their leading logistics client in Mississauga.

Reporting to the National Linehaul Manager, this position is responsible for the planning, reporting, partner relations, and administration for the department. The candidate will preferably have logistics and transportation industry experience.


  • Prepare, plan, and update Linehaul Schedules in the transportation operating system & communicate with all departments, 3PLs and partners
  • Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly service & other K.P.I reports
  • Work with automated Service Audit Report. Collaborate with TCMs and IT to resolve any discrepancies
  • Track and analyze service performance of 3rd Party Carriers, Company Trucks and Partners
  • Communicate, negotiate, and liaise with 3rd Party Carriers on schedule changes, service challenges, etc.
  • Manage 3rd Party Carriers’ rates and Purchased Transportation cost
  • Support the Purchased Transportation invoice reconciliation
  • Work alongside and support the linehaul department
  • Support dispatch team on sick days and vacation as needed
  • CN container equipment management like orders, billing and service
  • Manage, and report trailer equipment assignments and utilization
  • Report to the Ministry of Transportation the operational miles of Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs)
  • Handle other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a transportation environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Google Workspace and MS Office, especially Excel
  • College or University an asset
  • Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation regulations an asset
  • Knowledge of Transportation Operating Systems (AS400) an asset

Weekly Schedule (Mon-Fri):

  • 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM

Annual Salary:

  • $48,000 to $54,000 based on the experience
